WOOHOO it's done

I can't believe it is done. This is the Final (for now) version of my art "studio". I am so proud of myself since I have never had any of my supplies organized, not at least since I stored them in one single box. I know it looks crowded, but I know where things are, most boxes or drawers are labeled with contents, and I have a CLEAN space to work. The small table is actually for my nephews to play at, if they want, but it also gives me a second space to spread out if I have a big project. Will probably move stuff around some, and when we finally paint, and maybe do a little remodeling, there may be more cupboards for storage, but this works for now. YAH now I can create something. Check back later to see some of my stuff.

lots of wasted money

Been busy for a week or so, just now working again on crafting area. I sorted through my gel pens, had a great big storage bin full, well over half were no good. 100 pens wouldnt write, and had ink, I tried the match trick, didn't work, so tossed them all. Here's a pic of money down the drain.
Today am going to work on sorting out things I don't need, want or use. Decided to have garage sale in a few weeks, have 9 more boxes to unpack and already have nowhere to put stuff.

Ribbon Madness

So today I went to work on my ribbon stash. Had 3 boxes full of ribbon, and almost never use ribbon because it's so messy to get to. I had a ribbon rack, which I boughy about 4 months ago, and had my Bro-in-law install it today. Here's the final results.
I have to say this is an eye opening experience. I had no idea I have so much ribbon, especially pink. Oh well, I guess there can never be too much pink, LOL

Organize 101

Well have gotten stamp pads organized. Use to use 4 tabletop revolving pad holders, but they took up over half of my workspace so had to store them on the floor making it messy to work with. Here is my solution.

This was a towel cabinet I got from Home Depot for $78, and it is holding 158 pads so far, with some room for a few more. I also have a lot of mini pads and cats eye pads with I stored in 2 plastic boxes with drawers, which is holding about 150+ pads at this time. The boxes were clearanced at Michaels for $6 each. I am keeping one small tabletop holder for the pads I use most frequently, about 30 right now for a total of over 300 regular, large and mini pads.
Also am selling the 3 larger pad holders locally so should recoup the cost of the cabinet, so it will have cost me almost nothing, CHA-CHING.

From crap room to craft room

Well am finally moved in to new home, but craft area looks like a nuclear explosion hit. Have so much stuff and not a lot of room to put it. In past have always just dumped stuff and then did the hunt and search while working on new projects. Have decided to do the unthinkable:

ORGANIZE IT!!! Since am not working atm, will have to try and do it with stuff I already have, or as cheap as I can get. Here are some pics of the before.
